So I know the average person may not care about award season. Well I’m not average. Being average is overrated.
I happen to absolutely love award season. However, just to clarify which type of award season I don’t watch music awards. Sorry but if I wanted to see a whole bunch of performances I’d just go to a concert. Music award shows are not award shows anymore they are just glorified concerts that you can watch on television. They hardly hand out any awards at the actual shows anymore. No the award shows I’m talking about are the classy ones. The television and film award shows.
I go all out when it comes to the Golden Globes and the Oscars. I record the red carpet arrivals and watch those. I watch the award shows from start to finish. I print out my winners predictions lists and see how good I do at predicting who is going to win. The second that red carpet coverage starts I grab my comfy clothes and some wine and am parked on my couch for the rest of the evening watching them. It’s not for some people but it’s something that I enjoy doing. I try to record the other film award shows since there are so many that happen all in the next few months.
For anyone like me here is a master list of all of the major award shows coming up in the next several months.
